 Kelley Hagerich, MD, MPH, FACP, DABOM, DipABLM

Dr. Kelley Hagerich, MD, MPH, FACP, DipABOM, DipABLM is quadruple board-certified in Internal Medicine, General Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Lifestyle Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. She completed residency programs in Internal Medicine, General Preventive Medicine, and Public Health. While she has always had a strong interest in lifestyle medicine, which she explored during her preventive medicine training, she also recently completed board certification in Lifestyle Medicine to advance her interest in this area. Dr. Hagerich is the national lead physician champion for the Veterans Healthcare System weight management program called the MOVE! program. She also serves as the medical director of the newly developed regional bariatric surgery program based at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. Prior to transferring to the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System in January 2022, she spent nine years at the VA San Diego Healthcare system where she worked as a primary care provider and served as the medical director of the weight management clinic. She was also an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine, where she taught UCSD medical students and served as a preceptor for the UCSD Internal Medicine residency program.
