Dr. Lisa Pathak is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Lifestyle Medicine. She is a graduate of the accelerated seven-year medical program at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College, and received her Doctorate of Medicine from Mt. Sinai Medical School in New York City.
She completed her residency at Cooper Hospital / UMDNJ Camden, where she was selected as the Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Pathak has earned her Fellowship in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Fellowship is an honorary designation given to recognize ongoing individual service and contribution to the practice of medicine, and thereby a mark of distinction. By maintaining her Fellowship, she makes special efforts to be a better doctor and deliver high-quality health care.
She is also a strong believer in overall Wellness and disease prevention, and therefore has expanded her education and became board certified in Lifestyle Medicine in 2020, which is her true calling. Lifestyle Medicine is the study of how our lifestyle choices can prevent, reverse and treat chronic medical conditions incorporating specific recommendations with nutrition, mental health, physical activity, social connectedness, sleep, and avoidance of harmful substances.
She is the founder of Dingmans Medical, a primary care practice in northeast PA, where she incorporates Lifestyle Medicine on all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Pathak is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air National Guard and serves at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, NY.
Dr. Pathak is an active member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, USAF Lifestyle and Performance Medicine Working Group and Poplar Care Network.
Dr. Pathak lives in Northeast Pennsylvania with her family and in her free time, enjoys hiking, reading, yoga, traveling and inspiring conversations. She continues to maintain a daily meditation practice and incorporates an uncluttered minimalist inspired lifestyle.
